    Quit coal, save the climate!

I think that this is probably the first time I post something about saving the planet. Kind of weird considering I spend most of my time in the Greenpeace and the Peta websites.

So well, anyhoo, I've subscribed to the Greenpeace newsletter since... I don't know, it's been a long time, and they told me to write to Metrobank and tell them not to fund Coal-fired power plants in Iloilo and in Cebu. I'm not really sure about the exact details but I remember that it's the coal-powered plants that contribute most to global warming when it comes to CO2 emissions.

I don't get why the government doesn't fund for alternative sources of energy. They waste all their time and effort trying to find fault in each other to the point where most people (such as myself) think that being in office was just for their plain selfish intentions.

Maybe they should consider the fact that if the polar ice caps were to melt, their opponent's fault would be the least of their worries seeing as the Philippines would be pretty much below sea level.

If you guys have the time, please follow the link below to write a letter to Metrobank:

ASK METROBANK TO STOP FUNDING CLIMATE CHANGE

    It's easy, trust me.

There's more details at the site to keep you guys up-to-date and in the know about things regarding climate change.

    A Poem

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
    By Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
    His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
