    For a Good Cause...

Of multi-colored light sabers and dead people

I never did get into posting the but I will do so probably next week when I've broke in the new semester. Right now I'm just amusing myself in doing something other than biting people's heads off. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, when this girl isn't in the mood, she still over-dramatizes everything. Let's just say door-slamming is one of my expertise. LOL.

So well anyhoo, I thought I'd talk about what I did over the weekend. I didn't go trick-or-treating because a.) I thought I was too old for that, b.) Laziness overcame me, and c.) Kaka, the four-year-old cousin whom I love ever so much, might have been shoved around by annoying eight year old trick-or-treaters and I would have beat those kids up if I'd been there, or at least scare them half to death. (Apparently, she was shoved around by kids older than her and she would've beat them up herself if her chaperones hadn't been there.) (That kid has been around me for way too long, don't you think?) (LOL.)

I didn't go to the horror house thingy, which I've been excited to go to since last year. I had a headache. And I wasn't in the mood. (You guys go through through "uterus deconstruction," as I'd like to call it, and see if you'd still have a happy-dappy smile on your face.)

I did, however, manage to do the whole day-of-the-dead thing that people here celebrate. Cemeteries aren't as crowded as they used to be. Don't get me wrong, it's still crowded as hell but this year, you could actually inhale without the hair of whoever's in front you going through your lungs. Things are pretty much the same - you'd still find cotton candy, ice cream, toys, and those toys that light up all over the place. Kiks now has one of those light saber thingies that last for, like, five days tops before it dies a natural death. Not to mention a brand new tea set.

I just love the whole ghoulish holidays. And the cotton candy that comes with it.

    B&W thing. LOL)

for the lack of a better term-
    for green.)

    A Poem

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
    By Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
    His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
